Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened (2 sticks)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp mint extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp leaven
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 10-15 drops inexperienced food product
- 2 cups melting chocolate*
- festive sprinkles
Instructions
- With an electrical mixer, cream the butter with the sugar till the mixture is light-weight and soft. Add in mint extract and coloring.
- Add flour, leaven and salt. combine till it forms a dough.
- Divide the dough in 0.5. On a sheet of paper, kind every 0.5 into AN 8-inch log. Chill the logs, wrapped within the paper, for a minimum of two hours or nightlong. (If you are ironed for time, half-hour within the fridge works well too!) I continually aim for spherical logs and find yourself with a lot of oval form. It works!
- Heat the kitchen appliance to 300°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cut the logs into ¼-inch-thick slices with a pointy knife. prepare the slices two inches apart on baking sheets.
- Bake the cookies on the highest rack of the kitchen appliance for 22-26 minutes.
- Transfer to wire racks to cool down. Heat chocolate in microwave for one minute. Stir gently and continue heating in fifteen second increments till swish.
- Dip 3/4 of the cookie into chocolate into chocolate. assault paper and add vacation sprinkles. don't take away till cool and set.

- *You will use chocolate chips + one tsp vegetable oil or shortening mixed in in situ of melting chocolate.
